What we do

Throughout the year, the women of HJWC give of their time and talents through volunteer service at Bayou Bend Family Day, Houston’s Ronald McDonald House and Texas Children’s Cancer Center at Texas Children’s Hospital.

Dedicated to improving the lives of ChildrenThe talented members of the Craft Project work throughout the year to create unique and beautiful handcrafted items sold at the annual fundraising event, HOLIDAY HAPPENING.

Since 1983, HWJC has held their HOLIDAY HAPPENING luncheon and through its success has raised and donated in excess of $5,000,000 to Bayou Bend, Houston’s Ronald McDonald House, Texas Children’s Cancer Center at TCH, and many additional children’s non-profit organizations. With the support of its members and friends in the community, Houston Junior Woman’s Club, with helping hands and caring hearts, will continue providing assistance to the children of Houston and the surrounding areas through dedicated volunteer service and fundraising efforts.
